Rookie Star Receives Technical Foul, Ejection
Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese was ejected late in the fourth quarter of her team's 88-75 defeat by the New York Liberty on Tuesday.
The rookie star was called for a technical foul with 3:28 remaining in the game after she received her fourth personal foul and was ejected from the game.
Reese had been a key contributor for the Sky, scoring 12 points and grabbing 9 rebounds in 28 minutes of action.
The loss was the Sky's second straight and dropped their record to 2-3 on the season.
Reese's ejection is a blow to the Sky, who are already without star forward Candace Parker due to injury.
The Sky will look to bounce back from their loss when they host the Dallas Wings on Friday.
